It was time to offer a fire and vandal proof building for the firefighters who help rescue our homes and businesses in the times of need. The new Hatfield Fire Hall is a 60’x70’ precast concrete building that is nearly indestructible with little to no annual maintenance required.

Even with a little rain Wieser Concrete erected the wall panels in one day. They still have plans to open by Labor Day weekend.

Design wasn’t sacrificed with the efficient setup. The front wall is an exposed aggregate finish and the other walls feature stained concrete to create a brown colored finish.

Our precast concrete walls also offer energy conservation with a sandwich-style wall panel. There are two inches of styrofoam insulation embedded by eight inch precast concrete panel. To help in their decision making process, members of the volunteer fire department toured the Maiden Rock facility to look at precast panel options. The building is not only efficient and stylish, it accommodates the fire hall’s needs for office and meeting room space, as well as a mezzanine area with a precast deck on it.
