After a successful inaugural year of Precast Days in 2019, Wieser Concrete is on board for round two this fall! New for 2020, we have partnered with the Manufacturing Institute (MI) to join in the Manufacturing (MFG) Day celebration! Presented by the National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA) and MI, the Precast & MFG Days event offers a unique educational opportunity for students, specifiers, engineers, and contractors to gain up-close experience at a local precast concrete plant. NPCA plants such as Wieser Concrete are opening their doors to explain the precast manufacturing process and demonstrate the equipment, technology, and engineering expertise that goes into making precast concrete products. Participating engineers can earn PDHs as part of this event. Wieser Concrete will be hosting Precast & MFG Days at our Maiden Rock, Portage, and Roxana facilities in October and early November. Those not attending the continuing education presentation are welcome to come and go anytime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. We will also have trivia with giveaways during the open house!
