About this Project

With a warehouse addition incoming, Badger Corrugating Company chose Wieser Brothers to lead the project. Badger Corrugating is a building materials supply company, founded in 1903 and based in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Gary K. Munkelt & Associates designed a firewall to meet a 3-hour fire rating, which will separate the existing building and new warehouse addition.

Wieser Concrete also used fire-rated caulk and backing to meet the proper rating. At 119′-4″ in total length, the firewall slopes from 27′-6″ tall down to 22′-6″ tall. The panels consist of 12″ thick insulated precast concrete and include a custom cut-out for an 18′ x 10′ overhead door. Installation was completed in just two days from start to finish. Badger Corrugating will use the new space for prefinished lumber and raw lumber storage.
